HRH Premier attends Oman's National Day celebration

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa praised Oman's big civilisational and development strides under the leadership of Sultan Qaboos bin Said. He was speaking as he visited today Oman's embassy marking Oman's 48th National Day anniversary. He was welcomed by Omani Ambassador to Bahrain Abdullah bin Rashid Al Medilwi, in the presence of ministers, senior officials, ambassadors, journalists and media persons. HRH the Prime Minister said attending the celebration reflects deep-rooted fraternal ties binding both countries. He extended heartfelt congratulations to Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the Omani people on the national occasion, wishing Oman further progress and prosperity. He lauded bilateral relations of brotherhood and cooperation and their progress at all levels. The Omani ambassador expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for gracing the celebration which, he said, reflects strong fraternal relations between both countries and peoples. He lauded HRH the Premier's keenness on further cementing ties binding both countries, describing the Bahraini-Omani relations as a model to emulate in mutual understanding and respect.
