Bahraini women’s strides hailed

Manama, Nov.21(BNA): A tribute was paid to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women(SCW) President for her role in bolstering Bahraini women’s standing on the national, Arab and international levels. The parliamentary committee for promoting equal opportunities congratulated HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa on the success of the conference, which was recently held under the theme “role of women’s political participation in achieving development justice. The committee commended the outcome of the conference, which yielded recommendations that reflect Bahraini women’s honourable status, stressing keenness on promoting equal opportunities in the Parliament’s General Secretariat.
