BTEA CEO opens Gulf Property Show

Manama, (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, inaugurated the Gulf Property Show (GPS) held at the Avenues Mall in the presence of Al Hilal Group Managing Director Ronnie Middleton, General Manager Jubran Abdulrahman and Public Affairs Director Ahmed Suleiman. The GPS is a boutique showcase for the real estate and property development sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It aims to highlight present and future developments in Bahrain and the Gulf. The event also aims to provide the opportunity to promote upcoming real estate opportunities in Bahrain, as well as regional and international opportunities for investors in commercial and residential real estate projects. The event includes 19 exhibitors representing 17 companies including real estate developers, service providers, consultants as well as specialized financial institutions. "It is our pleasure to inaugurate the Gulf Property Show which comes as part of BTEA’s commitment to support initiatives that contributes significantly towards the development of the national economy. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions for organizing such exhibitions and events that aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as an investment destination," BTEA CEO said. "The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry is one of the main growth pillars of BTEA. Our strategy focuses on developing this vital industry and enhancing the Kingdom's position as a leading destination within the MICE sector by hosting major events, exhibitions and trade events throughout the year," he added. The GPS brings together representatives from the largest real estate development companies from around the world. Visitors will also be able to learn about the investment opportunities available in the participating countries such as Bahrain, Hungary, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. Supporting the Gulf Property Show comes in line with the BTEA’s strategy to promote the MICE sector and further develop the Kingdom’s tourism sector under the slogan of ‘Ours.Yours.’, which contributes to Bahrain's economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.
