We participate to ensure successful polls: says minister

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza stressed during his participation at Awali Club's General Polling Station in the parliamentary and municipal elections today that the natinwide polls come in response to the call of national duty that makes imperative to select the most efficient lawmakers and municipal councillors. The minister told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the fifth quadrennial polls seasons is time to choose the right municipal and parliamentary representatives to ensure the voters rights. He added that the elections is opportunity that many people wish for but cannot get, therefore, we participate today in order to ensure the success of this democratic process that attests to the success of the Kingdom’s progress and renaissance led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Dr. Mirza expressed gratitude to HM the King for providing the opportunity to citizens to express their opinion transparently freely through the polls stressing that it is our entrusted national responsibility to exercise the right to cast ballot and availing from the opportunity.
