Royal Charity Organisation trains women on farming methods

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) signed agreement with the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, to instruct RCO-sponsored families on sheltered-farming methods. A group of women learnt farming techniques to join the ranks of productive families and independently manage their own projects after receiving training. They grew and harvested their own tomatoes, cucumber, cress, sweet pepper in sun-sheltered nursery gardens. This came as RCO Assistant secretary-general for Planning & Charitable Resources, Yousef Yaqoub, inspected the nurseries kept by women and admired their efficiency.
