Shura Council: Saudi Arabia will remain security, stability pillar

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): The Shura Council has appreciated and expressed deep pride in the results of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s talks with the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud. In a statement, the Shura Council welcomed the kingdom's distinguished guest, and stressed that the long-standing solid brotherly relations between the two kingdoms have contributed to their progress, which reflects the strength of bilateral ties, and the keenness of their leaderships to bolster joint cooperation and coordination in various fields. The Shura Council asserted that sisterly Saudi Arabia represents the basic pillar of security and stability in the region, adding that it is playing a leading role in promoting peace and achieving progress for all countries of the region through its support for various development projects. The Shura Council also lauded the varied initiatives launched by Saudi Arabia to address the challenges and dangers currently faced by the region and the world, which has strengthened its global role and status. The Shura Council reiterated its categorical rejection of attempts to harm Saudi Arabia or undermine its dignity, stressing that such desperate attempts will not affect Saudi Arabia’s determination to carry on implementing its development strategy and ambitions plans to continue the nation-building and progress marches in all fields, under its leadership.
