Overseas election turnout hailed

Manama, Nov.28 (BNA): Bahrainis abroad voted in the run-off elections, which were held on the 27th of November at the embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions across the world. Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC) President and 2018 Elections Executive Director Chancellor Nawaf Hamza thanked the Foreign Ministry and its representatives in all capitals for their efforts to ensure the success of the elections. He said that the elections had proceeded smoothly which enabled citizens to exercise their constitutional right. He said that the results of the overseas’ polls will be added to the outcome of the elections, which will be held on Saturday, corresponding to the 1st of December.
