Bahrain labour gains discussed

Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met the Secretary General of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) George Mavrikos. Executive Council Chairman of Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (BFLUF) Yacoub Yousef Mohammed was presented also to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation to serve the labour and trade union movement in Bahrain. The minister reviewed the prospects of trade union work in the Kingdom as well as efforts in developing, modernising the systems,and legislations to achieve more labour gains in the country in line with international labour standards.
