Bahrain's Interior Minister congratulated by GCC Secretary General

Manama, (BNA): Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdellatif bin Rashid Al Zayani sent a cable of congratulations to Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, on receiving the Personality of the Year Award 2018 and being honoured by the US-based Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E. International). The honour was conferred in appreciation of the success achieved by “Ma’an” programme in combating violence and addiction. The programme is carried out by the Interior Ministry across Bahrain schools. The GCC Secretary General wished the Interior Minister abundant health and more growth, prosperity and security to Bahrain and its people under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
