Bahrain's Education Minister receives Asia Skills Contest winners

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Bahrain has achieved a new educational feat by winning the first and third titles in graphics and robotics design competitions as part of the Asian Skills Contest 2018 hosted by the United Arab Emirates under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Board Chairman of Emirates Foundation, with the participation of 540 students from 18 countries On this occasion, Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi received the winning Bahraini students, praising the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s outstanding organizing of various educational forums and contests. The minister affirmed the ministry’s keenness and attention to innovative, talented students and their participation in local and external activities to gain more experiences. Royal University of Women (RUW)’s student Shaikha Al Abbasi won the first place in graphics design (adult category) contest. Meanwhile, Abdullah Ghallab from Abdulrahman Al Nasser Intermediate Boys School and Majid Darweesh from Samaheej Primary-Intermediate Boys School won the third place in robotics design (junior category).
