Saudi ambassador praises elections success

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Shaikh extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier as well as the Bahraini people on success of the parliamentary and municipal elections.  In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Shaikh lauded the large and unprecedented participation of the Bahraini people in the electoral process, describing it as a reflection of Bahrain's civilisational and democratic development under the reform project of HM the King. He stressed that this participation mirrors cohesion between the leadership and people and boosts the kingdom's capability to confront challenges and achieve more growth and prosperity. The Saudi ambassador affirmed that the recent visit of Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Bahrain reflects strong fraternal and historic relations between both countries and peoples. He stressed keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HM King Hamad to further boost bilateral cooperation and integration in various fields. He hailed the inauguration of the new oil pipeline between both countries, describing the project as a landmark economic milestone and a vital economic artery which will benefit both countries and peoples. He wished both countries constant security and stability under their leaderships.
