HRH the Crown Prince of Bahrain meets US Vice Chief of Naval Operations

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Admiral William Francis Moran, US Vice Chief of Naval Operations, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness stressed the long-lasting and solid ties between Bahrain and the United States that expand across various fields, particularly on defence and security. HRH the Crown Prince went on to highlight the importance of continued cooperation and collaboration between Bahrain, the US, and other international allies in order to achieve long-term regional stability and security. HRH the Crown Prince also extended condolences on the recent passing of the US 5th Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral Scott Stearney. Additional issues of common interest were also discussed during the meeting. H.E. Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Bahrain Defense Force’s Chief-of-Staff, also attended the meeting.
