SCE Vice President meets UAE Climate Change, Environment Minister

Katowice, Dec. 4 (BNA): Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, met UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, on the sidelines of the 24th UN Climate Change Conference being held in Katowice, Poland. The SCE Vice President praised the longstanding Bahraini-UAE relations under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He welcomed the level of cooperation between the two sides in various fields, chiefly the preservation of the environment and wildlife. Topics on the event’s agenda were discussed, in addition to joint interests. Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif of Bahrain to Germany and a number of officials were also present.
