HM King of Bahrain issues royal decree forming the cabinet

Manama, Dec.4 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today issued Royal Decree (61), forming the cabinet, having examined Constitution, the Royal Order 56 of 2018, issued on December 2, 2018, stipulating the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa as Prime Minister and assigning him to nominate members of the new cabinet, and based on the Premier’s presentation dated December 4, 2018, HM the King hereby enacted and assented the following: Article 1 stipulates the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander as First Deputy Prime Minister Article 2 stipulates the appointment of: 1.HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa as Deputy Premier 2.HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa as Deputy Premier 3.H.E Jawad bin Salem Al-Arrayed as Deputy Premier 4.H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa as Deputy Premier Article 3 stipulates the appointment of: 1.H.E Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa as Cabinet Minister 2.H.E Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa as Interior Minister 3.H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa as Foreign Minister 4.H.E Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi as Education Minister 5.H.E Dr. Abdulhussein bin Ali Mirza as Minister of Electricity and Water 6.H.E Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa as Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments 7.H.E Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa as Minister of Oil 8.H.E Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa as Minister of Finance and National Economy 9.H.E Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf as Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning 10. H.E Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan as Minister of Labour and Social Development 11.H.E Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed as Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications 12.H.E Bassem bin Yacoub Al-Hamer as Minister of Housing 13.H.E Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Bouainain as Parliament Minister 14.H.E Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh as Health Minister 15.H.E Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani as Minister of Industry and Commerce 16.H.E Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi as Minister of Information Affairs 17.H.E Major-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi as Defence Affairs Minister 18.H.E Aymen Tawfiq Almoayyed as Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Article 4: The Prime Minister shall execute this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
