New government takes oath before HM the King of Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 5 (BNA): The new government at the Sakhir Palace took the constitutional oath before HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HM the King today received HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. HRH the Premier presented members of the new government to HM the King. HM the King gave a keynote speech, in which he welcomed the new government members and congratulated them on the formation of the new government. He said the new government would assume its responsibilities ahead of the start of the fifth legislative term, during which more achievements are expected to meet the future national goals of Bahrain and the royal ambitions of providing citizens with respectable services and achieving financial balance to promote the national economy. HM the King thanked the previous government members for their sincere and honourable efforts exerted in the interest of Bahrain. HM the King wished the new government success in taking on responsibilities in the service of the homeland and citizens. HRH the Prime Minister stressed resolve to push on with modernization and development process to translate the royal directives. He appreciated HM the King’s words in praise of the government, which is an impetus for giving additional efforts and more achievements. HRH the Premier pointed out commitment to intensify development efforts, affirming that achievement is the next stage title. He underlined that the government has always prioritized citizens and highly appreciated their honourable stances, emphasizing keenness to turn their aspirations into reality.
