HM King’s development roadmap backed

Manama, Dec.14 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) hailed the keynote speech which was delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa at the opening of the National Assembly’s First session of the Fifth legislative term. BCCI Chairman Samir Abdulla Nass stressed the priorities which were outlined by HM the King for the coming period to achieve the fiscal balance, tackle the general budget and diversify resources, under the supervision of His Royal Highness the Premier, supported by HRH the Crown Prince. He hailed HM the King’s call to pursue efforts to attract and encourage national and foreign investments and general jobs, hailing the royal directives which, he said, augur well for the promising future of the national economy. He underlined HM the King’s call for the legislative branch of government to heed national priorities and future requirements and support reforms and necessary measures. The BCCI affirmed wide-ranging support to HM the King’s approach, as well as the Government, chaired by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He called upon the National Assembly, all social segments and businessmen to step up cooperation and step up dedicated work, in light of royal directives, to achieve further progress and prosperity for the nation.
