Doha To Host the African Super Cup

Doha, December 14 (QNA) - The Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Friday announced that Doha will host the African Super Cup match between Esperance of Tunisia Raja Casablanca of Morocco in February. QFA said in a statement, that President of the Qatar Football Association HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani had signed with President of Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmed Ahmed the hosting agreement for match between the African Champions League winners - Esperance of Tunisia - against the African Confederation Cup champions - Raja Casablanca of Morocco. QFA and CAF are expected to unveil the details of the event, which will be held for the first time in Qatar, which has hosted more than one of the most prestigious events in recent years. CAF President Ahmed Ahmed said that Doha's hosting of the African Super Cup comes within the framework of activating the cooperation agreement between the two sides, reiterating his confidence in the Qatari organizational capabilities.
