Bahrain National Museum marks its 30th anniversary

Manama, Dec.15(BNA): On behalf of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Educational Fund, HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today attended a reception, held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and hosted by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiques, commemorating Bahrain National Museum’s 30th anniversary. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended his congratulations to HM the King, HRH the Prime Minister, and HRH the Crown Prince on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 47th National Day and the 19th Anniversary of HM the King’s accession to the throne. HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiques’ efforts in promoting the Kingdom’s history, culture and spirit, noting that the museum’s displays depict every aspect of the Kingdom’s society and development efforts. HE Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), extended her sincere appreciation to HM the King, HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for continuously supporting Bahrain’s efforts to promote its cultural heritage at all levels. HE Shaikha Mai also extended her appreciation to HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for patronizing today’s reception, and highlighted the Museum’s role in promoting Bahrain’s cultural heritage that has resulted in the inclusion of two sites on UNESCO’s World Heritage list.
