Bahrain welcomes Albania’s expulsion of two Iranian diplomats

Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the Republic of Albania’s decision to expel two Iranian diplomats on suspicion of engaging in illegal activities, a step that affirms the danger of the Iranian policies, based on interference in the internal affairs of other states, in addition to Tehran’s incessant endeavors to shake regional and global security and peace. Whilst the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses support for the decision of the Republic of Albania, it looks forward to international efforts to continue countering the Iranian policies that support extremism and terrorism. It also looks forward to compelling Iran to respect the principles of international relations and neighborliness as well as the sovereignty and independence of other states and not to interfere in other countries’ domestic affairs for the sake of regional and international security and peace.
