Finance Minister visits Kuwait to promote cooperation

Kuwait, Dec. 23 (BNA): HH the Amir of Kuwait, Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, today received Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who conveyed greeting of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to HH the Amir of Kuwait and to the State of Kuwait wishes of further progress and prosperity. HH the Amir of Kuwait praised the longstanding fraternal relations bonding the two countries and their people. He extended his greeting to HM the King and wishes of good health and happiness and to the Kingdom of Bahrain more advancement and well-being. On the sidelines of his visit, the Minister of Finance and National Economy also met HH the Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah and welcomed his interest in boosting the bilateral relations, lauding Kuwait’s supportive stances toward Bahrain, which reflect the deep-rooted brotherly ties. He was also received by HH the Prime Minister Shaikh Jabir Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah and reviewed ways to further enhance cooperation relations, chiefly in economic and development domains, in the interest of the two countries and their people.
