PM Meets People in Phra Pradaeng

SAMUT PRAKAN, Dec 24 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has taken a field trip to Samut Prakan’s Pra Pradaeng district on Monday to follow up progress in various projects and meet local people. Gen Prayut met people at the Phra Pradaeng market, talking to traders and checking consumer goods prices. He was greeted by students in Santa costumes, singing songs for him. Then, he left the market to the Lat Pho park to pay homage to the statue of King Rama IX. His trip today is aimed to follow up progress in many projects and listen to problems for local officials and residents. The district promotes agro-ecotourism at Bang Krachao, an urban forest area, which is one of the famous cycling destinations. The prime minister also inspected the drainage water management at the Lat Pho canal, the royal project, initiated by HM late King Bhumibol to resolve flooding in Phra Pradaeng. (TNA)
