RCO launches smartphone application

Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, has launched the RCO’s special service application for Android and iPhone users. The RCO app was launched in implementation of His Majesty the King’s directives to facilitate procedures for citizens and the beneficiaries of RCO services in pace with latest technological advancement for easy accessibility and benefitting from the Organisation’s services. The app is downloadable from Play Store/Apple Store and includes a special introduction of the RCO and latest statistics as well as a special section for humanitarian assistance requests and the requests from RCO-sponsored orphans and widows. Registration is made possible for the various RCO programmes and events as well as to volunteer in the RCO activities and to follow all the latest developments. The app in its initial stage includes a special section for "Eshraqat" discount card which covers all the participating outlets and their addresses as swell as the discount rate available and how to benefit from this service. Also, more services will be added to the app in upcoming stages to provide ample opportunity for the citizens to benefit from this app.
