Bahrain's Electricity Minister receives German ambassador

Manama, Jan. 7 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received German Ambassador Kai Boeckmann and praised strong ties between the two friendly countries in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy. The two sides also discussed projects being implemented in these sectors and investment opportunities available to German companies. The German ambassador lauded Bahrain’s progress in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors, pointing out the German companies' keenness to take part in them according to available opportunities. He thanked Dr. Mirza and officials for the welcome and hospitality, stressing his resolve to strengthen existing cooperation to serve all interests and aspirations.
