Workshops on VAT will continue to take place across government entities

Manama, Jan 10 (BNA): The National Bureau for Taxation (NBT) affirmed that workshops and events on VAT will continue to take place in order to discuss and clarify all questions, inquiries and proposals related to its application, ensuring its efficiency during the initial trial period.   In this regard, NBT will be organizing  a workshop, in cooperation with more than 40 leading commercial institutions and accounting firms, where ideas will be exchanged about the best solutions and practices in the implementation of the new taxing system.   The NBT concluded by stating that all of its communication channels are open for further queries related to the VAT procedural or legal framework.
