AWC Bags RM25.97 Mln Sub-Contract Work In Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 (Bernama) – Engineering services company, AWC Bhd, has bagged a SG$8.57 million (RM25.97 million) sub-contract works contract to provide a pneumatic waste and linen chute system and, a food waste treatment system work in Singapore. It was secured via a sub-subsidiary, namely Stream Environment (S) Pte Ltd (SEPL) from the main contractor, SDK Consortium, in Singapore, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia Thursday. The contract, which commenced on June 13, 2018, was expected to be completed by Jan 31, 2021 and contribute positively to the earnings of AWC over the duration of the contract. The contract is for the proposed development of six blocks of seven-storey health campus comprising acute hospital, specialist outpatient clinics, community hospital, nursing home and four basement levels with two levels of car park at Woodlands Drive 17/ Woodland Avenue 12, Singapore. -- BERNAMA
