Light artist to perform in Bahrain

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): World renowned light and street artist Karim Jabbari will be performing Bahrain. “Once The Dust Settles” is an art concept that includes an installation, a portrait booth and a live show that will take place in Al Aali Mall on the weekends of January 18, 19, 25 and 26, Bahrain Al Aali Mall and Shop Bahrain have announced. “We are genuinely pleased to host Karim at Al Aali Mall during the Shop Bahrain festival, as this gives the public an opportunity to see one of the most unique talents in the art scene display a one-of-a-kind show that has never been done before,” Brad Curcillo, Mall Manager of Al Aali Mall, said. Jabbari said he was very excited to introduce “Once the Dust Settles” in Bahrain. “Once the Dust Settles” is an anthem to staying strong in all conditions, especially when facing a continuous flow of distractions, challenges, and obstacles, he said. “I will be delivering this concept in three stages through 20-minute live shows and an installation. I would also like to offer a personal experience to visitors as well, so I will have a booth available at the mall where they can take their pictures surrounded by my light calligraphy.” Jabbari began his artistic journey at the age of 12. A difficult childhood was made easier through the power of calligraphy and later in life it became a reminder of where he came from and what he left behind. His love for the Arabic language intensified as he began to delve deeper into its beautiful letters, words and syllables.
