Civil Defence safety role praised

Manama, Jan. 20 (BNA): The Director-General of Civil Defence has received Deputy CEO of Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Ibrahim Taleb and Director of Health, Safety and Environment, Ahmed Khalil. The meeting discussed various topics related to the strategic partnership between the two sides to enhance protection, safety and training standards. The Director-General highlighted that Bapco among pioneer companies in the implementation of the highest general safety standards and commitments to safety-related laws and rules. The Deputy CEO hailed the role of the Civil Defence in promoting safety standards and the company's establishments through fast response and proficiency in dealing with incidents.
