Thailand's National Agriculture Day 2019 set Feb 1-9

BANGKOK, January 24 (TNA) - The Thai government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, will organize the National Agriculture Day 2019 in the country's southern Nakhon Si Thammarat Province during February 1-9. Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Nonglak Wajananawat told journalists on January 23 that her ministry, in conjunction with Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya and the local government of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in the Thai South, will organize this year's National Agriculture Day at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, in the province's Thung Yai District. According to the deputy minister, the nine-day event is aimed to publicize Thailand's agricultural development, technical and research projects of all regions nationwide, where knowledge, innovations and progressive technologies will also be publicly shared. The deputy minister revealed that exhibitions on royal agricultural development projects will also be organized by her ministry in honor of the Royal Thai Institution. (TNA)
