Foreign Minister meets with Spanish counterpart

Brussels, Feb. 4 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met with his Spanish counterpart Mr. Josep Borrell, on the sidelines of his participation in the EU-League of Arab States ministerial meeting in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium. The Minister of Foreign Affairs hailed distinguished relations of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Spain, expressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s aspirations to further enhance these relations at all levels, in addition to strengthening joint cooperation regarding regional and international issues. For his part, Mr. Borrell stressed growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Spain at the economic and political levels, affirming keenness of the Kingdom of Spain to bolster these relations for the common interest of both countries. They also exchanged views on the most important issues on the agenda of the EU-League of Arab States ministerial meeting. (MOFA)
