HM King receives Works minister

Manama, Feb. 11(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received, at Safriya Palace, Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Esam Abdulla Khalaf and Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, who greeted HM the King. HM the King commended the strenuous efforts exerted by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning to serve citizens and protect agricultural and marine resources through legislations and laws that contribute to attaining desired goals. HM the King gave directives to encourage agriculture and aquaculture, which boost food security, and enhance citizens’ awareness about the importance of the two sectors. The Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning expressed thanks to HM the King, outlining the planned projects. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King to continue leading Bahrain and its people.
