A Japanese school funds construction of five Lao schools

(KPL) Japanese teachers and students of Kokusai Gaku En high school in Japan, donated US$ 36,000 for the construction of a primary school in Thangbeng village, Thaphabat district, Borikhamsay province.
This Japanese school funded the construction of five schools in Laos and the one in Thangbeng would be its sixth.
A group from this school is now in Laos and recently they took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of this school.
The group, made up of 56 Japanese teachers and students of this Japanese school, led by its director, Mr. Araii Uchi, also took part in another ceremony that is linked to their good work in Laos, the hand-over ceremony of Saysavanh Primary School, Thaphabat district, Borikhamsay province, built with their donation of US$ 28,000.
During their stay in Laos, the group paid a courtesy call to the President’s wife Ms. Keosaychai Sayasone on 22 March and to the Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Lytou Paomuao on 19
March.
