Minister of Culture and Information Inaugurates Literary Forum

Jeddah, March 25, SPA -- The Minister of Culture and Information Dr.
Abdul Aziz bin Mohieddin Khoja inaugurated here on Tuesday 9th Forum
of Text Reading entitled "Novel in Arabian Peninsula'' organized by
the Jeddah-based Literary and Cultural Club.


In an address at the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Khoja said that
literary clubs have national and moral responsibilities in addition
to the dedication and promotion of the principle of dialogue called
for by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud.


The Minister of Culture and Information said that he has been
following the activities of literary clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, expressing his pride in the standards achieved by these
clubs in various fields of culture at the level of the Arab world.
