Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Egypt

Manama, Feb.16 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a security checkpoint in North Sinai, Arab Republic of Egypt, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of security officers. The Ministry expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes the injured speedy recovery. It affirmed its solidarity and support to all measures taken by the Arab Republic of Egypt to preserve its security and stability. It stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm position that rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and calls for concerted international efforts to end terrorism and cut its sources of funding.
