BAC presents IMS auditors with certificates of appreciation

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) recognised 17 Integrated Management System (IMS) auditors with certificates of appreciation for assisting the Internal Audit Department during the Company’s recent ISO recertification. The comprehensive IMS recertification audit, which was conducted in 2018, verified BAC’s compliance with ISO standards across the business.
In attendance during the award ceremony were senior BAC management, including BAC Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, who personally presented the certificates.
Mr Al Binfalah said: "I would like to thank the IMS auditors for their hard work and dedication assisting the Internal Audit Department during the recent recertification audit. Regular audits are essential to maintaining the high standards we strive to achieve, and demonstrate our commitment to continuous business improvement. Both internal and external reviews play a key role in helping us to achieve our strategic objectives, which include improving customer satisfaction, operations, and business performance as well as ensuring that BAC provides a safe and productive working environment."
He added: "With an integrated management system, each function is aligned with a single goal – improving the performance of the entire organisation. We believe that a coordinated effort is more efficient and effective, which is why our IMS is such a vital tool. From managing employees’ needs to monitoring risks and hazards, the IMS reduces inefficiencies and maximises resources, which ultimately helps us to provide improved levels of service."
