Annual moderate religious discourse symposium to kick off Sunday

Manama, Mar. 2 (BNA): Under the patronage of the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, a symposium on moderate religious discourse, organised by the Sunni Endowments Directorate, will kick off tomorrow at the Isa Cultural Centre. The two-day event, aiming to highlight the importance of moderation in real life, will pave the way for specialists to give their visions on ways to activate moderate religious discourse and show its positive impacts. The High Organising Committee of the annual scholarly symposium to promote moderate religious discourse has approved 16 research papers. Papers will be presented by professors and specialists from University of Bahrain (UoB), Applied Science University (ASU), Ahlia University, Sunni Endowment Directorate speechmakers and Holy Quran Affairs Directorate, as well as Islamic heritage scholars.
