BCCI, UNIDO discuss cooperation

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Khalid Mohammed Najibi, today received President of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Hashim Hussain. Najibi praised the UNIDO’s role in supporting investment projects, programmes and development efforts in the private sector. In the framework of the development of the private sector and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, the two sides discussed cooperation to hold activities and workshops to benefit entrepreneurs of emerging industries. Dr. Hussain commended the BACA’s interest in assisting the private sector to overcome the challenges, and its endeavour to promote emerging companies that are increasingly contributing to the national economy, welcoming cooperation for the development of private sector.
