HRH the Crown Prince meeting with the Deputy Commander of the US Central Command

Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the Deputy Commander of the United States’ Central Command, Lieutenant General Thomas W. Bergeson, at Al Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince noted the long-standing partnership between Bahrain and the US, stressing the importance of continuing to build on bilateral ties to advance shared strategic interests and regional stability. HRH the Crown Prince went on to welcome the visit of the Deputy Commander along with his accompanying delegation to Bahrain, and recognised the central role the US plays in upholding global peace and security. The meeting was also attended by the Bahrain Defence Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi.
