Shura Council wins award

Manama, Mar. 8 (BNA): The Shura Council’s Secretariat General won the Excellence Award for Human Resources Management 2019, on the public sector. The honour was conferred at the 6th Gulf Forum for Human Resources Development which was held on March 5 and 6 under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan. The event was organised by Actsmart for Public Relations Consultancy with the support of the Saudi Human Resources Society. Chancellor Osama Ahmed Al Asfoor, The Shura Council Secretary General, hailed the award which is considered as one of the main national initiatives granted in recognition of the distinguished efforts in human resources management in the public and private sectors. He thanked the organisers of the Gulf Forum for Human Resources Development, stressing its role in grooming national competencies.
