BACA president’s Arab honour hailed

Manama, Mar.9 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawziya bint Abdulla Zainal hailed the dedicated role played by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa. She saluted the honour which was bestowed on BACA president, who was declared winner of the Arab Heritage Personality 2019, the most prestigious award granted by the Arab Centre for Tourism Media (ACTM) to personalities who contributed substantially to preserving the cultural components in their countries and the Arab world. The Speaker praised the Arab honour, which enriches the record of Bahraini women’s achievements, in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. She commended the dedicated efforts exerted by Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa to promote culture and preserve historic and heritage monuments and enhance Bahrain’s standing and Arab countries.
