BACA president receives Swiss envoy

Manama, Mar. 11(BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received Deputy Head of Swiss Mission Dr. Pascal Rass and discussed joint cooperation. BACA chief underlined Bahrain’s standing as a regional cultural centre that attracts visits from all over the world. She briefed the Swiss envoy on BACA-led efforts to promote culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Swiss envoy stressed the importance of investing in culture to strengthen civilized dialogue between peoples, hailed BACA efforts to promote culture in Bahrain and build bridges between the Kingdom and other countries in the world. He reiterated keenness on bolstering joint cooperation to achieve cultural projects in the future.
