Foreign Minister receives his Cypriot counterpart

Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, who is on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Foreign Minister hailed the distinguished friendship relations between the two countries, affirming Bahrain's keenness to further develop coordination to serve common interest. He also stressed the importance of the exchange of official visits to reinforce cooperation and coordination at various levels. The Cypriot Foreign Minister highlighted his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Cypriot counterpart signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of energy.
