King welcomes businessmen contributions to national economy

Ashagabat, Mar. 17 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at his residence in Turkmenistan’s capital, Ashagabat, received a delegation of Bahraini businessmen who accompanied HM the King on his visit to Turkmenistan. HM the King praised the Bahraini businessmen’s role in supporting the national economic development process and their achievements in the trade, industry and investment sectors. He noted Bahrain's keenness on providing a proper business environment, offering investment facilities, enacting relevant laws and legislations, in addition to establishing an advanced infrastructure to ensure the success of businesses and investments, at the same strengthens Bahrain's standing as a key international trade center. HM the King welcomed the Bahraini trade and economic activities and visits to Arab and friendly countries to establish investment and economic projects, looking forward to opening new horizons of economic cooperation between Bahraini businessmen and their Turkmen counterparts, which would contribute to increasing the size of bilateral trade. The Bahraini businessmen expressed appreciation of HM the King’s support to hold business partnerships with their international counterparts. They gave a brief on the Bahraini-Turkmen Business Forum and the agreements signed during the forum, which would contribute to promoting the bilateral economic and trade cooperation. They welcomed the royal keenness to boost the private sector's role in contributing to the economic process seen by Bahrain. HM the King hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Bahraini business delegation. He wished them success in their meetings with their Turkmen counterparts in the interest of enhancing the bilateral relations and cooperation at various levels.
