Key global powers such as Russia and China vigorously participate in the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), bringing it to the forefront of global politics, SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov said at a press conference in the Chinese capital of Beijing on Wednesday. "Apart from various geopolitical, economic and civilizational factors, the activities of two key global powers, China and Russia, who promote the global agenda through their foreign policies as permanent members of the United Nations Security Council permanent members, clearly bring the SCO to the forefront of global politics," Norov pointed out.
