Speaker hails Royal Order

Manama, Mar. 20(BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawziya bint Abdulla Zainal paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for issuing a Royal Order establishing Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Award for Bahraini Women Advancement. She hailed the move which reflects the success of the royal vision in supporting Bahraini women to assume positions at all levels as part of the national comprehensive development march. In a statement today, she hailed the Royal Order which, she said, signals Bahrain’s successful transition from the phase of women’s empowerment to that of advancement. The Speaker paid tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council women (SCW) for her efforts to support and promote women-related programmes. She extended congratulations to all women in Bahrain, adding that the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Award for Bahraini Women Advancement had won regional and international recognition.
