Southern Governor starts visit to Japan

Tokyo, Mar. 24(BNA): Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa has today arrived in Tokyo on an official visit at the invitation of the Japanese Government. He was received on arrival at Narita International Airport in Tokyo by Bahraini Ambassador to Japan Ahmed Al-Dosari, Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Hideki Ito, a number of employees from the embassy and the Japanese Foreign Ministry. The Governor’s official visit comes within the framework to consolidate bilateral relations binding the Government of Bahrain and Japan in all fields and discuss joint cooperation between the Southern Governorate and a number of Japanese Governorates. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa in accompanied by a delegation including a number of officials from the Southern Governorate and the Interior Ministry.
