Foreign Minister receives former British Prime Minister

Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair. The minister affirmed the deep-rooted historical relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, which are based on solid foundations of respect and coordination in all fields. He expressed his appreciation for Blair's keenness to maintain mutual communication and exchange of views on issues of regional and international concern, wishing him success. Blair commended the Kingdom’s great endeavours in enhancing security and establishing peace in the region, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
