Shura hails national belonging initiative

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA): The Shura Council's Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security chaired by Hamad bin Mubarak Al Nuaimi praised the launch of the national plan to promote the patriotic sense of belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship. The committee affirmed its full support for this initiative, as one of the national responsibilities emphasised by His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The committee hailed the launch of this initiative and the great efforts exerted by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa stressing the importance of this national initiative in enhancing security and stability in Bahrain. The committee affirmed that it fully supports to promote loyalty and belonging through legislation and laws enactment that ensure the community commitment to the national duty to safeguard the security and stability of the homeland and citizens.
