Deputy Premier meets Palestinian President

Tunis, Mar. 31(BNA): Deputy Prime Minister, Head of Bahrain’s delegation to the 30th Arab Summit, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa, met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on the sidelines of the pan-Arab summit. He conveyed greetings of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and wishes of good health and happiness to the Palestinian President and to Palestine and its brotherly people further progress and prosperity: The two sides discussed issues on the Arab Summit agenda, particularly topics related to the Palestinian cause. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa reiterated Bahrain’s support to the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to establish an independent and sovereign state, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa attended.
