RCO Secretary General honoured

Cairo, Apr. 6 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa lauded the efforts of RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Sayed in carrying out the directives of HM the King to provide humanitarian and charity work in Bahrain and support brotherly and friendly peoples all over the world. He also praised his contribution to the administrative, cultural and literary fields. This came marking the honouring of the RCO Secretary General by the British University of Cambridge during a ceremony organised by the university in Cairo, Egypt, to honour a number of Egyptian, Arab and African personalities. Dean of the University of Cambridge Dr. David Lausen and Board Chairman of Spark for Training and Development Dr. Sherif Al-Baltaji granted Dr. Mustafa Sayed the Achievement Award for the development of science, society and humanitarian work inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. Many political, cultural, media and art personalities from Egypt and the Arab World attended the ceremony. The RCO Secretary General extended thanks and respect to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, for their directives and support to charity and humanitarian work. He also expressed thanks and respect to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his remarkable role in this respect. Dr. Al Baltaji, the university’s representative in Egypt and the Arab World, stressed the university’s keenness to honour every person seeking to serve humanity, describing the honourees as the real asset in art, culture, literature, administration and media fields. Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa lauded Dr. Mustafa Sayed’s march and achievements, describing the award as a source of pride for Bahrain and its people.
