HRH Crown Prince congratulates AFC President

Manama, Apr. 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, has sent a cable of congratulations to Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa on his re-election as a President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for a new four-year term. HRH the Crown Prince expressed sincere congratulations to Shaikh Salman for his honourable achievement that adds to the multiple accomplishments attained by Bahrainis at various regional and international gatherings during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH Crown Prince asserted that the exploit also reflects the confidence of AFC in Shaikh Salman’s competence and long experience in various youth and sports fields, adding that the election provides another opportunity to Bahrainis to showcase their distinguished competence in holding leadership positions. HRH the Crown Prince praised Shaikh Salman’s distinguished contributions to enhancing the youth and sports movement in the kingdom through the posts he has held, wishing him every success in developing Asian football.
